The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) are currently in the process of reviewing the Youth Service Grant Scheme (YSGS) which supports Universal Youth Services in Ireland. Universal Youth Services are services that are available to all young people, but they do not include services

  1. That provide crisis or emergency support,
  2. Sporting clubs or
  3. Formal education programmes

With this in mind the DCEDIY are seeking young people’s (12-18) views on Universal Youth Services. A survey will be developed for young people to explore services available to them, gaps, barriers and benefits to Universal Youth Services.
