Recently five members from Dublin City Comhairle nÓg took part in a five-day trip to Tokyo. The trip was arranged by the Tokyo Metropolitan government. Also in attendance was Dublin City Comhairle na nÓg Coordinator Christine Lyons and Shauna McIntyre Senior Executive Officer and Amanda McLoughlin   

Teenagers in attendance represented Tokyo, Ireland, Taipei, Brussels, Indonesia. They gathered to discuss topics such as child participation activities, challenges faced by young people Child friendly cities and school life. The young people were also invited to Ireland House ,the Embassy of Ireland in Tokyo. Well done to Comhairle na nÓg members who attended!
