October 15th: Launch of ‘Inside Out’

Dublin City Comhairle launched ‘Inside Out’, a new secondary school programme. Developed with teachers, young people, and mental health professionals, the two-part educational resource is designed to improve body image and social media literacy among students.

Members from Belong Too and SpunOut contributed to the programme.

October 21st: Pizza Party

A pizza party at Hidden by One Society marked the end of a month of activities, giving members an opportunity to come together.

October 29th: So Circular Event

On October 29th, Comhairle na nÓg partnered with So Circular at the Woodquay venue. As part of the Next Gen – Now initiative, the event focused on fast fashion, textile waste, and climate action.

Sean McCabe of Bohemians FC and Clontarf GAA spoke about how clubs are reducing waste. Attendees discussed practical ways to take action on environmental issues.
