The National Youth Assembly of Ireland is excited to announce that the call out for new delegates, for the upcoming term is now open.
The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) established the National Youth Assembly to act as a consultative youth forum on topics of national interest. The Youth Assembly plays a significant role in including the voice of young people in implementing public policy and prioritising actions for Government.
The Youth Assembly is for young people aged 12–24 years. Delegates are invited from different organisations across the country to become a member of the National Youth Assembly of Ireland for a term of two years. Delegates attend a maximum of four Assemblies a year on different topics as well as preparatory and evaluation sessions.
