The National Youth Assembly of Ireland Delegate Day 2025 brought reflection, learning, and connection as we bid farewell to the outgoing delegates and welcomed the new cohort at Miesian Plaza, Dublin.

A huge thank you to the 2023-2024 delegates for their incredible contributions over the past two years. Their dedication, insights, and hard work have played a vital role in shaping discussions and influencing change on key national issues.

As we welcome the 2025-2027 delegates, we celebrate the continuation of this important platform, where young people have the opportunity to make their voices heard and directly influence government policy. Outgoing delegates shared their experiences, offering guidance and support to those stepping into their roles. New delegates learned about the Assembly’s mission, their responsibilities, and how they can actively contribute to national discussions on crucial issues.

Established by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY), the National Youth Assembly of Ireland provides a space for young people to engage directly with Government. Through this consultative forum, young people present their views and recommendations on matters they believe to be of national interest. The Assembly ensures that youth perspectives are considered in shaping public policy.

The Delegate Day 2025 marks the beginning of a new chapter, where young voices will continue to shape change – right now and for the future. We look forward to seeing the impact the new delegates will make in the years ahead!
