2024 was a fantastic year for the National Youth Assembly of Ireland, bringing together young people from across the country to have their voices heard on the issues that matter most. From climate action to rural development and gender equality, the Assembly has been a powerful platform for change.

Last year, 134 delegates and guest delegates from 52 youth organisations and 26 Comhairle na nÓg worked together to shape policy recommendations and collaborate with government departments. Their input directly influenced key areas, including transport, education, and rural youth opportunities.

The report celebrates the incredible achievements of the delegates, highlights the three major assemblies of the year – Climate, Gender Equality, and Rural Youth – and provides a glimpse into exciting plans for 2025, including the first-ever National Youth Assembly on Transport.
