
Aidan O’Hara is responsible for supporting the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) and other departments to ensure that children and young people have a voice in decision-making processes that impact their lives.
He oversees the delivery of the Comhairle na nÓg Five Year Development Plan and works closely with the National Participation Office in their efforts with Comhairle na nÓg and the National Youth Assembly of Ireland.
Aidan is most passionate about supporting other departments in consulting with children and young people, ensuring that their voices are heard in policy and strategy formation across Ireland. He is dedicated to empowering young people to actively participate in shaping the decisions that affect them.
